It is tagging time again! I have been stalking Sulekha today, hoping no one would remember me to tag with the naughty tag
Then I noticed another one!
The very verbose Viju has tagged me for her latest tag game called Bookworm's relay race! Since I am a bookworm, I loved this tag. So here are the rules first, cut straight out of Viju's blog.
Pick up the nearest book.
Open to page 123.
Find the fifth sentence.
Post the next three sentences.
Tag seven people, and acknowledge the person who tagged you . Add the rules.
So I went and picked up the book I had neglected since Subbu Chronicles arrived in the mail - The Catcher In The Rye by J. D. Salinger. I have read only two chapters but it was interesting, but of course, a book from Sulekha had to be finished first, right?
So here is the extract.
"In a way, it was sort of depressing, too, because you kept wondering what the hell would happen to all of them. When they got out of school and college, I mean. You figured most of them would probably marry dopey guys."
Now I have aroused my own curiosity. So I am off to read the rest of it.
I have to tag seven bloggers, here they are.
1. Kalyanee (Probably the only bookworm to have posted all her favourite books in Sulekha Favourites, in spite of the painfully slow process of adding favourites. So is it any wonder that I thought of you first?
)
2. Seeingeye (You are permitted to type with your teeth
)
3. Shail Mohan (I am hoping you won't pick up a book on Trivandrum and make me jealous again
)
4. Sanghouston (Neha's rhyme book is okay too
)
5. bharatborn (Even if the tag is delayed for a few days, I know you will still reach here and play
)
6. anjala ( That will be one loooong book, I have no doubt
)
7. fromtvm (Let us see if this will prompt my sis to start blogging
)
Let me get some new book titles!
